Indulcements and Gifts / Benefits Policy

Logistable Limited (“Logistable”, “it”) will take all reasonable steps in order to ensure that it or any of its officers and/or employees acting on its behalf do not offer, provide, request, solicit or accept any inducement and/or gift that may entail the risk of damage to a clients’ interests or in any way impinge upon or conflict with the duty of care Logistable owes to its clients.

Inducements

Logistable neither receives nor accepts any form of inducements and/or commissions.

Gifts/Benefits

Logistable defines a gift or benefit as being:

  • money or other property,
  • the provision free of charge or for a reduced fee of a service, a facility or information
  • any financial advantage provided in order to create, receive or increase any source of
    income, or
  • the avoidance or reduction of any loss and/or expense.

Personal gifts and/or benefits must not be offered by employees and/or officers of Logistable to third parties without the prior authorisation of the Chairman of Logistable.

Employees and/or officers of Logistable should decline gifts/benefit from third parties where the monetary value exceeds GBP 150 unless the gift/benefit is justifiable and has the express permission of the Chairman of Logistable. All gifts above this amount must be recorded in the Gift Register and the register will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Standard business entertainment such as an invitation to lunch or some other hospitality event will not require pre-approval unless it is deemed to be both recurring and excessive.
